deSide Upgrade and Installation Instructions
This PDF file contains all of the instructions you will need to either upgrade an existing installation of deSide, or install deSide for the first time.
Core Components
The deSide Updater
The deSide Updater is responsible for obtaining NEM (National Electricity Market) data from global-roam using the internet. It stores this data in your deSide Database. See the latest Release Notes to find out how we've improved the updater recently.
deSide Database Upgrade Scripts
The installation instructions for deSide mention a collection of scripts that you can use to upgrade your existing deSide Database to the latest version. This file contains those scripts.
Reaper Script
This is the script to reap the deSide Database (keep it at an appropriate size). Use this script in conjunction with the instructions on how to set a reaper task.
The deSide Client
The deSide Client is the Windows desktop application that displays NEM data, as read from the deSide Database.
The NEM Ticker (replaces the deSide Ticker)
NEM Ticker is a small windows desktop application that also displays NEM data as read from the deSide Database.
Additional Components
