The deSide Ticker will allow you to keep an eye on the market, whilst you are working on other things.

Feeding from the data updated by the deSide Updater, this application sits unobtrusively in the corner of your screen (with an option to appear on top of everything else, like a media player).

The Ticker will display the data of most interest to you - trading (30-minute) and dispatch (5-minute) prices for this trading interval and the next.  You can set the display to show the region in which you're consuming your energy.

Keep your attention focused on whatever else you are doing, and use the easily customisable colour-coding alert you, through your peripheral vision, when the price rises into your "danger zone".

When this happens, you can fire up to the deSide Client directly from within the Ticker, to investigate the reason why prices have just jumped.
